Little house with garden

For designing this cottage I took as a reference a country chic style with a little classical touch, but rural and rustic at the same time. Being this a little house with a big garden, we were looking for a sense of spaciousness and lightness given by the elements which compose the house, that’s why we avoid big contrasts and search for continuity.

The inspiration comes from the nature that surrounds the house. The materials are mostly wood, iron or forging and porcelain. Wood is an important material which provides naturalness and elegance, used as a link between interior and exterior in elements such as the floor, beams or windows, always looking for a warm color that creates continuousness with the off-white walls.

Furniture is meant to bring lightness too, but with a romantic touch, so it’s mostly conceived in white or off-white, with some natural texture as wood, with elements in glass and some detail in color to bring naturalness and life. This way, the same concept created for the materials used on the house applies to the furniture as well, obtaining the continuity sought.

The result is wonderful, I’m delighted. Teresa has a very good taste and has managed to capture our ideas perfectly.
